Rhyddid - live the questions now

First night aboard!

Well I've done it, my first night on Rhyddid. Despite the lack of heating, apart from a small fan heater, I am quite comfortable. I have a lot more space than I did on An-me and at present the living area at the front, or bow as I should get in the habit of calling it, is the store room for the rest of the fit out. Well on with the work and I'll post some pictures when I'm back in the office.

Simple pleasures

Sometimes it is the simple things in life that count. Sitting on the rear deck of Rhyddid, a cup of tea, Sainsburys slow baked all butter shortbread and a week off work to look forward to. Great!

Weekend update

Well after a good weekend, as can be seen from the lastest pictures, the fuse panels are wired and the training as a wireman all those years ago paid off. The loo is in place, now I just need to build the wall to the right and then the end wall of the bathroom can go up.

I have decided to move on to Rhyddid on Good Friday, it will mean camping a bit, but I have the basics and it will be good to be on my boat.
